Booking of Roselea, and/or Riverview for your event entitles the hirer to a contractual license to use the gardens and their surrounds for the two hour duration of the license (but not the building structures situated on either property without the owners consent).
Booking of Roselea Cottage entitles the hirer to a contractual license for exclusive occupation of the premises for the duration of the term of the license including the use of the facilities situate there in. The license shall be valid from commencement being 1 p.m. on the day of the booking until termination being 11 a.m. on the last day of booking (“the term”). Strict adherence to these times should be observed in order for management to be able to adequately prepare for the next occupant. Management must be informed prior to occupation if check-in or check out time is anticipated to be at variance to the foregoing.
Toilet facilities are available at Riverview and Roselea only on request.
Car parking is available for the wedding party and their arranged transportation on site at Roselea and Riverview, but guests are asked to use the off street parking available (on Julian Terrace with respect toRiverview, and Blanch Street and Hutchinson Road with respect to Roselea).
If cigarettes are to be smoked, it would be appreciated if butts and ash can be thoughtfully deposited in the receptacles provided.
The use of paper confetti is prohibited (because it does not readily breakdown) although Rose and other flower petals or bubbles may be used.
With respect to Riverview and Roselea, a deposit of one hundred dollars ($100.00) will result in a booking. The balance of the license fee must be paid in full by cleared funds no later than 14 days prior to the date of event.
With respect to Roselea Cottage, accommodation shall be booked for the period of occupation upon payment of the license fee in full.
In the event of inclement weather the hirer may make use of available sheltered areas at Roselea and Riverview.
